I maintain this web site as a value-added service. The following is the privacy policy for this site (all publicly accessible pages in the aanuncio.com domain):

The AA Nuncio web site will not require the use of cookie files or cookies to view public information. A cookie file is an electronic record containing unique information a web site can use to track such things as passwords, pages visited or the date when the user accessed a specific page, or to identify a user session at a web site. Commercial sites often use cookies to identify the items selected for a shopping cart.

The AA Nuncio website may require the use of cookies to facilitate applications that display user-specific web pages. The AA Nuncio web site will only use information gathered through cookies to facilitate the flow of information to the web user.

If you send me an e-mail message that contains personally identifying information, or fill out a form that transmits such information to me, I will only use the information to respond to your request and analyze trends. I may redirect the text of your message to another person who is in a better position to answer your question. While doing this, however, I will withhold your identifying personal information from the forwarded email. I may ask you to personally contact another organization or person.

For purposes of site management, I collect information for analysis and statistical purposes but never report this information or use it in any way that would reveal personally identifiable information to third parties other than subcontractors. I use log analysis tools to create summary statistics, which are used for purposes such as assessing what information is of most interest, determining technical design specifications and identifying system performance or problem areas.

Privacy of bank card information

The AA Nuncio website processes credit cards and debit cards through the Authorize.net payment gateway. Although the AA Nuncio website requires clients to provide a card number with its respective expiration date and security code for all online payments, neither the website nor any employee of AA Nuncio LLC has access to the full card number or its expiration date, since the data is processed by Authorize.net.

For any given payment, AA Nuncio LLC receives the following personally identifying information from Authorize.net:

• Card type
• Last four digits of the card
• Name and/or company name of the cardholder
• Address of the cardholder
• Phone number of the cardholder
• Email address of the cardholder

Similarly, AA Nuncio does not have access to your bank account information, such as the name of your banking institution or your bank account number, unless you provide such information to us by some other means. If for any reason a bank card payment is declined by your card's issuer, AA Nuncio can contact the institution to find out why the card was declined, but only if you ask us to do so and only if you provide the first four digits of the card, the bank name and branch information. If you choose not to provide this information, we cannot contact your bank.
